Department of industrial heat power engineering has 3 laboratories equipped with modern equipment:
1. Laboratory of Metrology, heat engineering measurements and automation
Laboratory benches include:
-
- installation for calibration of gauges and flow meters measuring PH, recording potentiometers, models, measuring devices
- microprocessor-based controllers, control devices systems "the Contour" and ACASR-2, a contactless starting device, electric actuators
- multichannel microprocessor heat calculators, computers and models of heating systems with transducers.
2. Laboratory of fluid dynamics
Stands include: indicating thermometers, pressure gauges, manovacuummeter, piezometers, voltmeters and ammeters; meters and counters of liquids; pipes, valves, pumps, installation of the Straits.
3. Laboratory of theoretical bases of heat engineering
The equipment of the laboratory consists of 12 stands representing models of various elements of heating equipment and installations: dryer, refrigeration, heat exchanger, paleocastro devices, etc.
Stands include:

- instrumentation: indicating thermometers, pressure gauges, aquametry, voltmeters, ammeters; meters and counters of liquids and gases; thermoelectric converters; automatic potentiometer; microprocessor based gauges
- elements of thermal power equipment: the pipe, the display surface of boilers, dryers, chillers, heat exchangers, Paleocene devices, thermostats
- auxiliary equipment: pumps, fans, electric heaters
When organizing the educational process there are also computer and multimedia classes in General obedience.
