In the Smolensk branch of NRU "MPEI" awarded "CLEVER"
On the basis of the Smolensk branch of "national research UNIVERSITY "MPEI" held a ceremony of awarding diplomas to winners of grants of the Fund for the promotion of innovation. Three members of our branch had a unique chance and half a million rubles for the development of their innovative projects. The winners were Natalia Uvarova, student at the Department of ITAU, Valentin Shtukin, a graduate of the Department, Svyatoslav Zubarev, graduate of the Department AIMT.
The Fund for the promotion of innovation is a public non-profit organization that implements the program of innovative development, aimed at creation of new and development of existing high-tech companies.
The contract with the Fund was signed with the support of the Governor of the Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovsky in 2013. The program "UMNIK" working in the region for 7 years, and young scientists of the Smolensk region annually receive grants. The names of the finalists of the next contest of innovative projects for grants from the Foundation for the promotion of innovation in the UMNIK program in Smolensk region became known in 2018, and now the winners received some grants.
On the eve of a solemn ceremony, a Member of the Federation Council Sergey Leonov, which is the official representative of the Fund in the Smolensk region, congratulated children on a victory and handed over certificates. After the ceremony presented their projects to the audience and other contestants who are fighting for grants.
The Fund of assistance to development of small forms of enterprises in scientific-technical sphere (Fund of assistance to innovation) is conducting a competition for grants among young scientists aged 18 to 30 years. SRO Rosa — regional representation of Fund of assistance to innovation in the Smolensk region. Grants in the amount of 500 thousand rubles are provided for the development of innovative scientific-technical projects in the following areas: information technology, medicine, new materials, new devices and hardware complexes, biotechnologies, energy-saving technologies. The Foundation's office in the Smolensk region 2013 and has already provided grants to 30 young scientists of the Smolensk region for the sum about 15 million roubles.
