Practical work experience of the participants of the project "Pearl necklace of Holy Russia" in the city of Dorogobuzh
practical lesson for the development of tourist routes has become one of the final events of the first stage of the international youth project for the development of cultural tourism "Pearl necklace of Holy Russia", implemented with the support of the presidential grants. The project participants visited the ancient Russian city of Petrozavodsk, founded in the early XII century.
In a practical exercise was attended by students of Smolensk higher education institutions, including branch of "national research UNIVERSITY "MPEI" in Smolensk (project team – V. Chankaew, M. Ovchinnikov, L. Belanova (ES-17), K. Kramerov (PE-16), V. Krotov (e-16) – led by curator M. G. Kulikova). Accompanied by the project Manager, rector of the parish of the Holy new Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church Archpriest Valery Ryabokon, the students visited the main sights of Dorogobuzh (historical Museum, St. Dimitry convent Church in honor of the apostles Peter and Paul), laid flowers to the Memorial of soldiers killed during the great Patriotic war. Training on the basics of designing tourist routes and city tours conducted by the Director of Dorogobuzh history Museum Tatyana A. Moskovchenko. She told about peculiarities of design of tourist routes, development of presentation materials for tourists, shared the secrets of professional guides. Students also learned about the participation of the city of Dorogobuzh in the project "Code of the Russian provinces. The first stage" and met with the use of modern means of travel navigation, for example with QR codes which, in the course of the project was equipped with the city's main attractions. The project "Code of the Russian provinces. The first phase", implemented with the support of the presidential grants were aimed at increasing tourist attractiveness and promotion of small Russian towns.
At the end of the trip, the participants visited one of the modern attractions, the largest in Europe the globe.
