Psycho-pedagogical support of students with disabilities
Psycho-pedagogical support of learning disabled students by a professional psychologist on the wishes of the disabled students who have problems in learning, communication and social adaptation.
In the framework of support of education implemented the following interventions: diagnostic; psychological intervention; preventive.
Conducted psychodiagnostic assessment to identify features of emotional, motivational sphere of personality, the established patterns of behavior, the degree of development of the non-adaptive condition. Studied initial level of development of social skills in students with disabilities. This enhances the effectiveness of future prevention and psycho-correction work.
Prophylactic direction of work includes the following elements:
establishing a sustainable motivation for continued learning;
- increasing the level of tolerance to stressful influences;
- increased compensatory abilities of the individual, assistance in professional self-determination.
Psycho the direction of work consists of individual consultations that focus on reducing mental and emotional stress, resolution of intra - and interpersonal conflicts, formation of active life position. Students with disabilities are taught: self-regulation skills, business communication, self-presentation, etc.
