KII-2016. The first results
Since October 3, the branch held the XV national conference on artificial intelligence with international participation (KII-2016).
The history of its implementation begins with the 80-ies. And, in fact, from the beginning of its organization the conference was the demonstration of achievements and a strong incentive for research scientists, United by the Soviet Association of artificial intelligence and later its successor – the Russian Association of artificial intelligence headed:
- The President of the Russian Association of artificial intelligence Osipov Gennady Semenovich and
- Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Association of Kuznetsov Oleg Petrovich.
Significant is the conference of the Smolensk branch of Moscow power engineering Institute, celebrating these days its 55th anniversary. But that's not the only reason for the implementation of this important conference. MEI and our branch actively involved in organizing and conducting fundamental and applied research, and the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of intelligent systems and technologies, and scientific school of the Department "computer science" is one of the leading in Russia in terms of fuzzy logic.
The abbreviation "CUES" is one of the most recognizable brands in the field of intellectual information technologies.
