Spring ball 2015
9 April 2015 in the auditorium of the Institute was a spirit of celebration and festive atmosphere. Under the majestic sounds of the Polonaise was a solemn parade of participants of the fourth Pushkin ball in the history of the Smolensk branch of NRU MPEI.
Pushkin balls have become a tradition in student life of the Institute and attracts a large number of participants and guests. This ball was probably the most massive in comparison with the previous: 25 pairs took part in staging the dances. As a result of hard training was a fascinating spectacle with all the attributes of the ball of the Pushkin era: waltz, que and romances.
Dive into the incredible atmosphere of dances from different countries has provided social dances: polka-Troika, Roman March, horse branl, reg-time, the Spanish waltz and saveloys. Most guests are happy to participate in dancing with the shifts partners, managing on the move to learn movement and even acquainted.
The ability to translate the spirit of the dancers gave the ceremony the results of the competitions "Student spring" and "stars of Energy". In the framework of student spring was awarded the best photographers and leading, students, conquered all their talents in the art of reading and the mastery of computer graphics and drawing. The nominations of the contest "stars of Energy" were noted: "the Best head" –Lobanova Catherine (PIE-12), "Best group" – PE-11, "discovery of the year" – Vyacheslav Zelensky(PC-13).
The pair circled to the song "the Ferryman", performed by Anna Miheevskoye (ES-12). The game and the dance formed a cheerful Union – the favourite dance is a joke trickle turned to the participants and guests in an endless stream, flowing laughter. Ended this amazing evening white dance, giving the opportunity to the ladies to choose a pair for the waltz. A handsome youth with proud postures, the magic and splendor of floating in the air, happy smile and burning eyes – the whole event went like a breeze.
Many thanks to the participants of the ball, which gave this wonderful evening of emotions and little stories, the administration of the Institute and the Council for educational work of overseeing the preparation of the ball and the coordination of actions of all participants, photographers and operators, and volunteers for their assistance in conducting the event.
